Order ID

To deliver the client’s booking to the airline, the client must provide a unique reference called “OrderID”. The order ID can be used to retrieve and amend an existing booking.

We recommend using the client booking reference (“Vorgangsnummer”) to construct the order ID, to avoid additional references.

When the client’s booking consists of multiple flight services (“Leistungszeilen”), it is required to create a separate order per flight service. The syntax of the order ID should contain a unique appendix for the flight service (e.g. 123456-1, 123456-2, …).

Please note, that depending on the airline reservation system, there may be technical limitations to this format. For example Amadeus Altea doesn't allow "-" in the corresponding elements. In this case please stay in contact with the airline on how the appendix is technically possible (other formats e.g. 1234561, 12345601, 123456V1)

Although it is not required, we recommend to always use the appendix together with the order ID, even if there is only one flight service.

If the client delivers an order using a previously used order ID, the existing order will be updated.

To ensure, that the orders are handled correctly through the complete lifecycle, the order ID should stay the same in all follow-up processes, e.g. PNL delivery.
