If the client does not know the "OrderID" of the booking, the IATA_OrderListRQ message can be used to search for an existing booking in the airline reservation system by adding flight- & passenger-details to the request.

It is also possible to search for existing bookings using the airline booking reference / filekey (if supported by the underlying order management system).

The IATA_OrderListRS response will contain a list of booking matching the request-criteria, including their "OrderID" which then can be used in the IATA_OrderRetrieveRQ message.
